Testimonial

"I thought you would appreciate some feedback on the contactless casting. I'm really pleased to say it went really well. Gina was an absolute delight bless her and she produced lovely moulds. She was very happy with the product and also with the instructions. It is something I can really see working. I also liked the moulds, the alginate felt really nice. I also noticed the easy mixing instructions. My alginate has always been great but it seems more labour intensive."

What Is A Belly Cast?

Belly Casting is a safe, simple process which involves laying wet plaster bandage (widely used in hospitals) over the pregnant torso at around 37 weeks.

This quickly hardens to create a perfect replica of the pregnant form. With one willing helper, you can create your work of art with the minimum of mess or fuss. Our kits include detailed, easy-to-follow instructions with diagrams and photographs to guide you through each stage of the process - from preparation, to creating your masterpiece and clearing up afterwards.

Your Belly Cast can be left exactly as it is or strengthened, smoothed, painted or decorated - whatever takes your fancy. You can even have it made into a glass sculpture, fruit bowl or lamp. Take a look at our Belly Casting Gallery for inspiration. Whatever you decide, you'll be amazed at the results!
